Animals we've helped

Read about the rescues of some of the many animals we've helped since founding Animal Aid UK in November 2018.

Lucky

Lucky, as we named him, was found as a stray covered in oil, infested with fleas and very underweight. One of our team fostered him, she nursed him back to full health and adopted him.

Tyson

This beautiful boy was living with a lady who was neglecting and mistreating him. As you can see from the pictures he was in very poor condition and was very depressed. We found him a rescue (all rescues we use have a no pts policy) and he is now a very healthy and happy boy.

Pippa as her new mummy called her was found straying. She was very badly matted and over run with fleas. Pippa was taken to the vets where she had to be shaved as her fur was in a really bad way.She is around 16yrs old and had been homeless for a long time. We found her a foster home and her foster fell in love with her and adopted her.

This gorgeous boy was abandoned, left in a kennel with no food and living in his own mess. We got him to safety in rescue and now he has an amazing home.

Holly

Holly, as we named her, was found straying and was very thin. She also had problems with her teeth, one was loose and causing her that much pain she couldn't eat. We got her to the vets for treatment and fostered her. We found Holly a new home when she well enough and she is now doing great.

Three siblings

These two babies were left living on the streets after their owner died. They did have another brother who was unfortunately badly injured and after being examined by the vet he sadly had to be pts. His two siblings who were also rescued were badly matted so needed a vets visit too. We found them an amazing rescue and they're now both in forever homes.

George

Poor George had been abandoned by his owners when they moved. A lady started feeding him but she moved so once again he was all alone. Living rough for 3 years eventually he was trapped. George was terrified of humans but we knew in time he would trust again. We paid for him to be neutered and for his other vet treatments. Eventually we gained his trust but he was still very shy so we knew he could not live back on the streets. He was adopted and now he's one very happy cat.

Max

Max is 18 years old. His owner passed away and the family were giving him away free because he was incontinent. We quickly got him in a foster home with a lovely lady who pushed him around in a buggy when he got tired. We found a lovely animal sanctuary where he could spend the rest of his year's.

Jess, Sapphire and their kittens

Jess and her kitten were living rough with another mum and her 4 week old kitten's. A rescue trapped them and we fostered them. Both the mums were feral and we soon realised that the other mum was Jess's mum. All 5 kittens were de-flead, wormed and vaccinated then found lovely homes when they were old enough. Jess and her mum (Sapphire ) were too feral to live in a home but we found them a lovely lady with stables in a peaceful rural area to adopt them. They have 3 meals a day, a nice warm shelter and are doing really well.

Bobbie

Bobbie was being given away for free. Many people don't realise but pets advertised as free to good home are often picked up by people who then use them for dog fighting, as bait dogs or used for breeding. We took Bobbie in and found her a foster family and she is now in her forever home.
